    service and price

location is not the best but worth the effort

  • Group of friends

A nice hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Location was good and within easy reach of the city centre and sights. Very nice stay.

  • Group of friends
    8.8

The staff was extremely friendly, and the room was spacious/luxurious

I didn't like the fact that you need to pay for the wi-fi, or the fact that it was somewhat of an inconvenience to use public transportation (I needed to take the bus)

  • Older travelers

The staff were great. Nice beds and bath.

No air conditioning; fortunately it wasn't killingly hot, but a/c would have made it still more enjooyable

The service is great and so nice! The rooms are incredibly clean and the guest can really feel taken care of.

Room no 2 is extremely small, but well planned. But I would not recomend it for obese people as they might have problems getting to the toilet ;-)

  • Family with children
    7.0

Friendly and attentive staff, fulfilling some of my request very promptly, clean rooms, very strong water flow in the shower (important!), good location in Rome. Fair value for money.

Wifi in rooms promised but not supplied - wifi active only in piblic area. Also, wifi should be free of charge - this is a basic requirement for me and if I knew it would not be free I would select another hotel. For me charging money for internet that does not cost almost anything to the hotel is outrageous - as if they charged money for water... Also, breakfast is not good, not tasty and not enough plates/glasses/siverware available, not enough selection, coffee is not hot enough, and in general breakfast is not satisfying. I had much better breakfasts in Italy for the same room cost.

We like the location. It was easy to get to the centre of Rome. The public transport in Rome is very efficient. Nice terrasse to eat and to relax at the end of the day.

If you don't have a laptop and you plan on using the hotel's computer to check or book hotels, forget it! Very complicated. Nobody seemed to understand how to make it work.

Nicely decorated, clean rooms. Very polite and helpful staff. We wanted to change our room as the one reseved for us was on the side of the street (which is one of the big streets in Rome and is quite busy/noisy) and there was no problem. We were offered a room in the other part of the hotel. That was very nice. Even our luggage was moved to a new room without any fee.

The location is not the best even though it is quite close to the center. It took us around 30 min to get to the city center due to heavy traffic in Rome. This caused us a bit of stress. There are several buses going to the city but it takes time to get there...

I hve stayed at the hotel many times over 8 years. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. However when Iarrived Iwas allocate room 23 whch has minimal space in the bathroom. When I expressed my discontent Iwas allocated a superior room number 29 at additional cost 20€ per night which I was happy to pay. The hotel set in beautiful ground has a nice family atmosphere. Whilst not located in the centre I consider this a benefit. I enjoy using thre local buses and the nearby metro at Bologna

The bathroom had been Remodeled, upgraded, including tile.

The location was too far away from the sites we wanted to visit. The hotel was run down; the carpets were dirty, walls were in need of paint and repair and the furniture was in poor condition. I was going to ask to change rooms but feared they may all be like that. No one asked me if my room was satisfactory, if they had, it would have provided an opportunity for me to have a more favorable experience .

This family-owned small hotel in a converted 19th century property is located in the leafy lanes of Rome's diplomatic quarter, which with its grand villas and broad boulevards is an attractive stomping ground in its own right, but is also within easy reach by bus of both the main station and the historic sights. Set back from the road in its own green garden, the hotel was a pleasant retreat from the heat of a Roman summer. My room was small, but contained everything I needed, the staff were unfailingly helpful, the breakfast perfectly adequate for the style of hotel (including cooked to order options for a modest supplement) and the special deal which I booked represented unbeatable value for money.

The tv seemingly offered hundreds of channels, but all of them were Italian as far as I could work out.

  • Family with children

I liked the way all facilities were arranged and the cleanliness of the premises.

Hotel's personel was of great help and availability. The area where the hotel was located was a good residential area, not far from the city historic center (from 15 to 30 minutes by bus). The room was nice and the hotel looked good and professional, whilst the garden was very nice.

The walls could use some painting and could be more sound proof. I mean, one could really hear what his neighbours were doing. Another thing that was not so ok was the fact that the bathroom was so small that one could have taken the shower while... brushing the teeth.

  • Couple
    7.4

The room was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable. It has airconditioning, small fridge and midrange bath. The hotel has a beautiful little garden around it,that protects the hotel building from the hot Italian sun. We would recommend this hotel to any who'd love to stay in Rome in cosy and quiet atmosphere.

The rooms on the ground floor was a bit noisy in the morning when other guests take breakfast in the garden. The breakfast was really nice but basic. The location is a bit far from historic center, however, if you like to walk a lot, it is not a problem.

  • Older travelers
    7.4

The hotel was very reasonably priced and within a short bus ride of the city centre, which was what we needed. It was comfortable and provided everything we needed. A good breakfast was included in the price.

The man on reception when we arrived was not particularly friendly or helpful. It was not a good welcome. However, the other reception staff during our stay (all men) proved to be the opposite so this made up for our initial feelings.
